Job Summary

ENSURE SAFETY OF THE WORKFORCE, DEVELOPMENT OF SUPERIOR WORKFORCE, HR DEPARTMENT, EMPLOYEE-ORIENTED CULTURE THAT EMPHASIZES QUALITY AND HIGH PERFORMANCE ETC

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree

Job Description/Requirements

MAIN TASKS / ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Ensure staff discipline in line with the company’s policy.
  • Implement objective performance management and improvement system
  • Driving timely payment of monthly statutory remittances (Pension, NSITF,ITF,etc)
  • Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees
  • Effective management of induction programs and exit interviews  for all staff in the group
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly rendition of reports to top management on staff matters and employee’s engagement. 
  • Policy Development and documentation
  • Management of company vehicles
  • Employee orientation, development and training
  • Company employee communication
  • Employee relation
  • Advises company managers about HR issues
  • Coordinate implementation of services, policies and program
  • Maintaining compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws on employment, compensations, Insurance related issues ( NSITF ,Group Life,etc)
  • Any other function as may be advised by the Top Management
  • Compensation and benefit administration
  • Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Employee services and counseling

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Target Driven and a goal getter
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Effective Team management skills.
  • Good Presentation Skills.
  • Multitasking and Decisive thinker
  • Leadership and Problem solving ,ETC

QUALIFICATION

  • ACIPM,BSC, MBA
  • 10 years+ experience.



KPI (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS)

    • Percentage of employees that fully execute their individual plan( appraisal) 
    • General staff discipline in line with company policy
    • Profit per employee
    • Actual versus budgeted cost of hire 
    • Annualized voluntary turnover rate
    • Average training costs per employee
    • New hire quality
    • Staffing efficiency, etc


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FUNDAMENTAL TO THE POSITION

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent commercial Orientation
  • Ability to Work under pressure
  • Leadership Skills and problem solving
